How to scope an MVP without overbuilding
Most first versions do too much. How to decide what goes into your MVP and what waits, using the decisions from PSC Mocklab’s first release as the example.
About us
Tascbar is a Forward Deployed Engineering company based in Kerala, India. We work with founders and businesses around the world, taking their projects from the first conversation to software running in production.
Tascbar was started in January 2025 by four college students. Our first company was a small software development business, and the hardest part of running it was finding the right developers. Each one worked in a separate field, so bringing together the right people for a single project was slow and difficult. We decided to solve that problem, and that’s how Tascbar began.
We help clients turn an uncertain idea into a clearly defined solution, and then turn that solution into working software. We start by understanding the problem, make engineering decisions that fit it and judge the result by whether it works in the client’s real environment.
Every project has a lead engineer who is accountable for it from start to finish. When the work calls for other expertise, such as design, mobile development or infrastructure, we bring it in and coordinate it, so you don’t have to manage a team yourself. You get one point of contact, honest updates and work you can be proud to put your name on.
The people on this page run Tascbar day to day. The engineers who build your product come from a network of more than 100 Forward Deployed Engineers who work with us, chosen for each project by the skills it needs. If the term is new to you, here is what Forward Deployed Engineering means and how we apply it.
Our culture
Before we choose a technology or write any code, we make sure we understand what the business needs and who will use what we build.
